i think this might be another palermo, its wise to stick together, if you go walkabout in westham shirts on your own or in small groups you might find it risky,the local police dont want our ob to travel, i smell a rat, no witness if local plod try open season on wesham fans.

bill, I also heard an interesting bit of info when the draw was done regarding a connection between the zagreb ultras & the vienna fans. just be careful in austria if anything happens thursday night

I would second that knowing the country well. Nice people overall but we love our football and don’t particularly like the English!
The police will not put up with anything and will dish out rough justice for not much reason.
As with any club there is an element that love a scuffle and will go looking for it!!

I've been there loads of times and never sensed any dislike of us, particularly as we helped them out in the Balkans war. Plod were fine when we went to Osijek in '99. Generally let us go where we wanted.
I agree it could be a bit prickly but that's football for you. It could just as easily pass off with no hassle. I've booked a ticket but it's 50:50 whether I will make it due to late confirmation of getting a ticket, general double booking with other things and covid testing fuckwittery.
Word of warning for those that like dark beer- go easy on the "Tomislav" or you might not make it to the game! 7.3%.

West Ham United fans travelling to Croatia this week have been advised not to wear shirts sporting the name of new signing Nikola Vlasic.
And in a message to Hammers supporters on social media, the Croatian Irons have advised fans that wearing Vlasic or Suker shirts could be seen as provocation by Zagreb’s Ultras the Bad Blue Boys aka BBB.
